Bundaberg & District Hydroponics Society
The Bundaberg & District Hydroponics Society is a group of enthusiasts who are always ready to share their knowledge and promote the methods of growing hydroponics.
The Society was formed in 1990 by a couple of hydroponics enthusiasts from Cairns,
Bill & Gloria Meehan.
We meet on the first Sunday of each month except January, at 9.30am. The meetings are usually held at the homes of our members.
Our aim is to promote interest in Hydroponic growing and exchange information on the techniques of Hydroponic growing.
The club has a library for the use of members, which include Books, Magazines
and CDs on all subjects.
We have a Storeman who looks after our stock of nutrients, medium, meters, pots, etc.
Our members mainly grow in simple set ups and enjoy growing without the bending and digging.
The Monthly News Letter keeps us up to date with all that is going on in the club and has lots of very good items of interest.
Visits to local Hydroponic Growers farms are always very interesting and well attended.
In general we enjoy each others company and a good chat (fixing all our
problems) over a lovely morning tea, provided by the hosts.
We are always looking to share our knowledge with new members and visitors are most welcome to our meetings.
